There is a time during the day when you feel a slump coming on and your reach for the remote / a snack / social media. I challenge you to in that moment when you feel a “bad mood coming on” to engage in a little bit of self love. This is how to beat the afternoon slump.
Instead of doing the thing that is guaranteed to make you feel worse (no matter how much you want to convince yourself otherwise) engage in a practice that will generate energy.
Do a 10 minute workout.
Do a breath work practice or a meditation you enjoy.
Work with your yoni egg.
Drink a glass of water.
Go for a walk outside.
Listen to a feel good podcast.
Create.
This will raise you to the next level in self-love and accountability where when you feel low, you don’t push yourself further down, but you claim your power and raise yourself up. Hopefully next time you’ll know how to beat the afternoon slump. Bonne chance!
